Race limit:
The race has a limit of 600 participants.     Check your registration

Time Limit:
This event is walker and velocity challenged participant friendly.  The only time limit is that participants must finish before dark (5:30pm). The third loop must be completed by 3 PM, or you will not be allowed to continue.  An early start is not allowed because of the greenbelt rules.

T-shirts, medals, and stuff:
Each participant and volunteer will receive a shirt. Each finisher will receive a custom finisher medal. The finisher medals are a secret until race day, so don't ask to see a picture of one because it isn't going to happen.  In lieu of age awards, your finisher squeezie critter will have your overall finishing position on it. 2025 will be the year of the Squeezie ?. Each registered participant will receive a snazzy goody bag.

Pre-race Announcements and National Anthem:
Race announcements, introductions, and instructions will start at 7:45 AM.  National Anthem will be sung and followed by the marathon start at 8:00 AM sharp. The half will begin at 8:15 AM.

Aid Stations:
There will be water and sports drink available every 1.5 miles at each of the aid stations. There are snacks available at the start/stop aid station (every 6.5 miles).   Portable toilets are located at the start and at each aid station.

Bag Drop:
There will be an area near the starting line where you can leave a drop bag that is easily accessible from the racecourse.

Awards:
We have designated 2025 as the "year of the ?". Each finisher will receive a critter with your overall finish position.  Don't blame us if you have a very slow critter.  Last year was the Squeezie dollar sign . Prior years have been:  Squeezie Chicken, Great White Shark, Squeezie Happy Dog , Squeezie 'Tex' the Cowboy Bull, Squeezie Octopus, Squeezie Porta Potty, Squeezie Bug-eyed Frog, Squeezie T-Rex, Squeezie Elephant, Cheesie Squeezie Rat, Pink Pig, Yellow Rubber Duck, Penguin, Bat, Monkey, Cow, and Bear.  There are no age group awards because every runner is special.

Post-race:
A pizza picnic lunch is provided after the race with fresh pizza being delivered every hour starting at 10 AM.  Also, snacks, fruit, cookies, chips, and soft drinks are available while you cheer on the other runners as they finish.
